A lovely location and friendly welcome, rooms are nice and clean, very comfortable with thoughtful touches. Stayed twice and enjoyed both visits. I was travelling without my husband and this place was perfect.5 / 5 stars
On a three week holiday through NSW, the Anchor Bay Motel was the best value accommodation encountered in this price range on the whole trip. I stayed 3 nights. The room was bright, clean, and fresh, with natural light from two directions, and had an inviting verandah to sit outside.5 / 5 stars
Set in a delightful location next to very good seafood eateries and near a charming jetty, this place was a delightful surprise. Clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff and a bottle of wine in the fridge!4 / 5 stars
I have stayed at the Anchor Bay twice now, it is convenient and away from suburbia of Nowra and is right on the water at Greenwell Point. The rooms are always tidy, smelling fresh with very clean linen and blankets (I liked the low setting on the electric blanket - just enough for my aching back) and the coffee tea facilities well appointed. It is a must to walk along the walkway from the jetty to the end and back before breakfast. The fresh sea breeze and brisk walk does you the world of good. The manager is always polite, courteous and ever helpful with our needs. The jetty and boat ramp are great for pictures and looking back on Coolongata Mountain at Shoalhaven. The free picnic BBQ and tables are an added bonus across the road with a great Fish & Chip shop on the corner. We will be back again, for sure.5 / 5 stars
