Third stay here and always a pleasure. It is by no means a Shangri-La but the motel is very clean, beds comfortable and a small kitchenette very useful. Rob was fantastic and helpful even upgrading my aged mother in laws room that was more user friendly for an older person. No hesitation recommending this motel in a this lovely peaceful...5 / 5 stars
We had a quick overnight stay here while attending a wedding. The hosts are very welcoming and happy to recommend places to eat etc. the room was very clean and had a lively view of the wharf where the fishing boats come in. It was also very quiet. Be aware that some of the rooms are only accessed via stairs so if this is a problem for you make sure to ask for a downstairs room. All in all a lovely stay and I would definitely return.5 / 5 stars
We wanted a quiet place to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed. The motel was very clean, with modern furnishings and very comfortable. Room rate was good value. Hosts were friendly and helpful and the location of our second level room (#10) had an excellent view of the jetty and river surroundings.5 / 5 stars
This is a very quiet and friendly village, and Anchor Bay Motel is comfortable and welcoming. The views across the water are wonderful, with pelicans galore on the jetty across the road. It's about 10 mins to Nowra, and 30 mins to Huskisson where most of the tourist action is centred.5 / 5 stars
On a three week holiday through NSW, the Anchor Bay Motel was the best value accommodation encountered in this price range on the whole trip. I stayed 3 nights. The room was bright, clean, and fresh, with natural light from two directions, and had an inviting verandah to sit outside.5 / 5 stars
