Take a stroll around town and try to imagine Greenwell Point as the 2nd busiest port in NSW! Take in some of the historic buildings such as the school (1983), church (1890), or some of the original houses. The motel is situated where Greenwell Point House once sat.
We were on the road and just looking for a place to hang our hats for the night. We found Anchor Bay Motel via the internet and gave them a call. Rob made our after-hours check-in so easy that I felt compelled to visit reception in the morning to thank him personally. After a wonderful night's sleep in a comfortable bed, it was great to put a face to the name. The motel is located right on the point so, being an early riser, I managed to get an enjoyable walk and take a few photos of the picturesque sunrise before hitting the road again. I'd gladly stay here again!!5 / 5 stars

We booked for one night as part of a weekend away from Sydney. After a day on a motorbike, we were very tired and ready for a hot shower. Rob welcomed us with open arms, instantly making us feel at home. He helped us with dinner recommendations and local sites.5 / 5 stars
