It was amazing! Two minutes out of Huskisson on Jervis Bay and we were watching bottlenose dolphins cavorting off the beaches of Vincentia. The eco adventure and dolphin cruise continued past Hyams Beach with the whitest sand in the world, peered in at the naval training base at HMAS Creswell and cruised on to Green Patch in the Booderee National Park.

The eco adventure and dolphin cruise took us past another huge pod of dolphins gracefully gliding, leaping and diving near Bowen Island on Jervis Bay. We marvelled at the magnificent cliffs supporting Point Perpendicular lighthouse and poked our nose in to Honeymoon Bay on the northern side of Jervis Bay.

A highlight was watching a fur seal primp and prime on the rocks of Jervis Bay.  It was a magnificent day and the crew of Dolphin Wild on Jervis Bay were equally magnificent. The team from the Anchor Bay Motel can highly recommend this Jervis Bay dolphin cruise to any of our lovely guests.

Woohoo. We’re getting very smart at Greenwell Point.  The Anchor Bay Motel’s delightful deluxe accommodation has had an upgrade and  now has reverse-cycle air conditioners and digital televisions in all rooms. Such luxury, such style in Greenwell Point.

The Anchor Bay Motel’s deluxe rooms were given a makeover 18 months ago and now have air con and flat-screen digital televisons. The deluxe rooms have water and garden views of Greenwell Point and open onto a verandah with tables and chairs. Two deluxe rooms have a queen bed only, one has a queen and a single. All deluxe accommodation has an ensuite, kitchenette, reverse-cycle air conditioning and flat-screen digital television.

St George Women in Business lunch

The Anchor Bay Motel’s display at the St George Bank Women in Business lunch on October 19, 2011. The motel was one of several businesses to donate prizes, with all proceeds going to breast cancer research. It was a grand affair with 46 lovely ladies – all in pink – in attendance at the Butterfactory at Jindyandy. We’ll be there again next year!
