Escape the bustle of city life . . .
Welcome to the Anchor Bay Motel
Just two hours south of Sydney, Greenwell Point is a quiet, relaxed fishing village 10 minutes east of the large regional centre of Nowra. It’s poised on the junction of the Crookhaven and Shoalhaven rivers and is renowned for its Sydney rock oysters and fabulous fishing.
The Anchor Bay Motel overlooks this magnificent waterway and boasts sweeping views to Crookhaven Heads and the sea beyond.
Greenwell Point is within an easy drive of many of the South Coast’s wonderful attractions, including Berry, Kangaroo Valley, Jervis Bay and Point Perpendicular .
Your hosts Jeni and Garry are South Coast escapees: Garry from the dusty plains of western NSW and Jeni from the chaotic streets of Sydney. Garry is also an oyster farmer and will give you the inside running on where to get the best oysters and where the fish are biting.
And to really help you get away from it all, we now have wireless internet access available to guests.
It’s a friendly, warm, hospitable motel, and Jeni and Garry will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
For that romantic getaway, ask us about the Anchor Bay Cottage next door. This original two-bedroom cottage has just had a makeover and now boasts a new kitchen, bathroom and laundry, polished floorboards and a large verandah with spectacular views across the Shoalhaven River.
Come and escape with us soon.
