The Anchor Bay Motel is a delightful 12-room motel overlooking the water in the quiet fishing village of Greenwell Point on the NSW South Coast. The town is just 10 minutes east of Nowra and two hours south of Sydney, and renowned for its Sydney rock oysters and fabulous fishing.

The motel provides idyllic accommodation for a romantic retreat or a quiet escape for business people. Most rooms have views across the Shoalhaven River and all open onto balconies with outdoor settings. Our Waterfront Suites and Deluxe Rooms are the latest rooms to be renovated, with new furnishings, reverse-cycle air conditioning and digital televisions.

The motel is only metres from the fishing wharves and boat ramps and fabulous Pelican Rocks Seafood Restaurant is next door. The northern side of Jervis Bay and surf beaches are just 10 minutes away; Berry, Kangaroo Valley, Huskisson and Vincentia just 25 minutes away.

Your hosts Jeni and Garry are South Coast escapees: Garry from the dusty plains of western NSW and Jeni from the chaotic streets of Sydney. Garry is also an oyster farmer and will give you the inside running on where to get the best oysters and where the fish are biting.
